The St James's Safer Neighbourhoods team will be holding a scams presentation next week and you are invited. Scams affect every community - from text messages, emails and telephone calls to people knocking on your door under false pretences. It's important to know how to protect yourself, what to say to scammers, and how to make a report when you've fallen victim to a scam.

You'll also have to opportunity to sign up to the Met's new communications platform MET ENGAGE - we will tell you all about it at this event.

The presentation will be at William Gibbs Community Centre, G Peabody Estate, Old Pye St, London SW1P 2LR.
